Your App Data
EdgeAlert stores all of your personal data locally on your device and in your personal iCloud account via CloudKit. This means:
- Your data is only accessible to you through your Apple ID.
- We cannot read, access, or retrieve any of your personal app data.
- Deleting the app or signing out of iCloud removes your data from those locations.
Data Collected by Third-Party Services
While we cannot access your personal app content, EdgeAlert integrates third-party services that collect limited data to support purchases and improve the app experience.
RevenueCat (In-App Purchases)
We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat receives purchase-related data necessary to validate and manage your subscription, such as a anonymized device identifiers and transaction records. This data is stored on RevenueCat’s servers.

PostHog (Analytics)
We use PostHog to collect anonymized usage analytics, such as which features are used and how the app performs. This helps us identify bugs and prioritize improvements. No personally identifiable information is intentionally collected or sent to PostHog.

Data We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect your name, email address, or any contact information through the app.
- We do not have access to the content you create or store within EdgeAlert.
- We do not sell your data to third parties.
Children’s Privacy
EdgeAlert is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
